when Glenn was 7 years old him and his brother were in a explosion his brother Floyd died in the explosion and Glenn legs were burned and the doctor said that he wouldn't be able to walk again until Glenn decided that he wanted to walk again and when ever he would give up he would keep on saying "I'll walk" "I'll walk". when his leg healed he decided to become an Olympic athlete and a doctor.
